Please take note that all policies are automatically agreed upon when booking an appointment with The Spa Cabin.
As a small business owner I truly value every client who comes to us and I’d like to believe you value our time too.
The Spa Cabin aims to prioritise our clients overall experience, we shall always ensure clients are comfortable and relaxed within a friendly atmosphere. We shall ensure we are trained to a high level and use only the best products. We aim to be known for our exceptional dedication to our clients ‘wellbeing’ and customer satisfaction.
Punctuality and Courtesy
Please note we hold a strict punctuality policy, all allocated appointments must begin and end at the scheduled time so that the next client will not be delayed. If you do not attend or are more than 15 minutes late a charge may be applied. We kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to treatment if it is your first appointment at the salon as we will need to carry out a full consultation.
If you are running late please contact us directly as soon as possible on 07983599043, we will always try our best to accommodate you however any appointments over 15 mins late or more or you do not attend the treatment may not be able to go ahead and a late charge may be applied.
Please note we hold a strict 48 hours cancellation policy, if this is not adhered to you may incur a charge of the total treatment price. Please refer to our full cancellation policy for details.
Cancellations should be made by calling or texting us directly on 07983599043 only!
Please do not use other means social media messages or computer reminder text numbers as these messages do not get seen quickly enough.
When you book online please double check you are booking the correct treatment. If you need a Soak off make sure you include this, if you require nail art please make sure you book this, if your booking is incorrect this may mean the treatment will not be able to go ahead due to not having the correct allocated time.
When booking please make a note of how long you have allocated for your treatment time and that you are free for the full treatment time as this is the time needed to complete the treatments.
Please note some treatments may require a patch test 48 hours prior the treatment booking.
Please note some treatments may require a pre-payment booking fee, which is redeemable against the treatment booked.
Purchase of retail products and courses
All Retail products and Treatment Courses must be paid for in full at time of purchase or ordering. Prepaid Courses of Treatments must be used with 12 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Gift Vouchers are non- refundable and are valid for 12 months from purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers may be used for services or products. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred to a different person. Your gift voucher I.D number must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the therapist at the start of your treatment. You are not under any obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session. Late cancellation and ‘failure to show’ terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers.
We reserve the right to review prices in line with inflation.
Data Protection Policy
Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be stored in line with GDPR guidelines. We may on occasion send details of open evenings and special promotions, if you would rather not receive marketing style messages then please let us know at the first instance.
We ask that you disclose all medical conditions including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be suitable. You can give any relevant information on your consultation card.
Please note due to our insurance policy we are unable to allow children under 12 in the salon during your treatments (as much as I love to see them), there are so many chemicals and equipment unsafe for children in a salon environment, we know what curious children are like . This also allows you and others in the salon the opportunity to relax and be pampered.
Please note anyone under the age of 16 requires a signed consent from a parent or guardian before any treatment. Also anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the full treatment.
I do not carry out Gel polish nail services under the age of 14. I do not carry out any lash or brow tinting, Lash extensions or Lash Lifting treatments on anyone under the age of 16.
Salon hygiene is of the upmost importance therefore we ask all clients to wash and sanitise their hands upon arrival, all of our tools and work areas are cleaned and disinfected between treatments. We change our towels and linens between treatments and they are laundered according to HSE guidelines.
We accept all major debit cards but prefer not to take credit cards, Apple Pay, Cash, PayPal, or Bank Transfer. No Cheques or £50 notes please. Please note all card transactions have to be over £10.00.
A patch test is required at least 48 hours before the following treatments:
- Lash & Brow tinting
- LVL Lash lift
- Lash Extensions
- HD Brows
Please Note I DO NOT except disclaimer forms and no patch test means no treatment will go ahead. You can book a patch test on my online booking system or by giving the salon a call.
Please ONLY book the above treatments online once you have been patch tested or have booked a patch test at least 48 hours beforehand.
In the interest of comfort of all our clients, we ask that you please refrain from talking loudly on your phone and ensure it is on silent for the full duration of your time at the salon where ever possible.
Please try to minimise the amount of personal items you bring into the salon. Please refrain from using your personal items after washing and sanitising your hands. A small box will be provided for you to keep these in.
